A review of the evidence base for TAMARS
We once again collaborated with the biomechanics department at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), this time to review the evidence base for the two main modes of the TAMARS® treatment, reflex and mobilisation.
You can read the full review here.
The review concludes that vertical alignment can play an important role in spinal stability and theorises the mechanism by which the reflex mode can help to correct misalignment. Mobilisation can reduce muscle activity, stiffness and pain and the combination of the two treatment modes could lead to a longer term improvement for the patient.
